Wanna know why?
Because when a team moves and TNSE wanna play moose to the NHL games. The thrashers were up and coming. They were building to be good. Then all of a sudden you take away the coach and the team is left starting all over.
Noel could be the best coach ever and it was still a bad move.
Sorry

I agree that you have no idea what you are talking about. 3 games in and you wanna jump off a bridge.
What happens if we beat Pittsburgh on Monday?
Boston has lost 3 games too. Should they fire their coach?

Ya good point Bobster.
Bruins look good, and have been playing well.
The Jets look lost and seem to be getting worse.

Can't blame much of this on Claude. The players have been playing poorly and he isn't out on the ice.

Yes you can blame Claude. Good teams play a style of hockey. When they are down 2-0 or down 1-0 or up 2-0 they play the same style.
Good teams play a specific way, and Claude is struggling puting together a hockey team. It's a lot more than puting together lineups and making the odd game adjustments.
I've been to practices and they are boring to watch. All they do is skate around like warmups. They work on nothing, they aren't creating plays, and they aren't teaching.
Last game I was impressed with Noel's in game coaching however but he is is trying to force things on this team. He is trying to do things last minute and even though he is coaching well. It's not what this team needs right now.
Tonight he was out coached in such a bad way. He will get a talking too by Chevy tomorrow, bet on it!
Ramsey knew this team and he should have been the coach taking over this team here in Winnipeg.
PERIOD

I agree...Why do people seem to think that many games need to go by, and that the team will just all of the sudden get better. The best predictor of future performance, is past performance; and past performance has not been pretty.

the dood-- yup your right. I mean i dont know any other way to put it is that this team is not good right now. They are actually worse of a team than the Thrashers and that should not be.
Ramsey should have been coach. PERIOD.
But it is what it is right now, and the Jets need to get going. Noel better start creating a better offensive punch in the next 3 games or seriously............. guys need to be traded, or fired. I know firing Noel will be ridiculed and all. But after 3 more games and it's getting worse or the same. Then it shows Noel can't coach this type of team and then wait for a good moment to fire him. Maybe 2 months from now. I think firing him within 3 weeks of the season oponer could be embarrasing but hey The moose did. And we all know how Chipman loves thinking about the past moose.

I couldn't disagree more with this threads premise. This is a very young team and the road to the top has a lot of bumps on the way. Coulda woulda shoulda. The past is prologue, move forward my friends, we're only 2 games into the season and we're throwing the coach under a bus already?? What are we?? Toronto media types?? Relax and enjoy the ride!! ;D

drgui...... sorry to wake you up but we are 3 games in. We aren't throwing anyone under the bus. We are just talking about the obvious. And what Chipman/Chevy should be thinking about doing.

So my math sucks! And based on their play so far can you blame me for being in a coma?? lol. 2 or 3 games its still too early to start pointing fingers. At least wait till its 0 - 10 before we get our undies in a knot!

if we are 0-10 I think they should move back to Atlanta. People in Winnipeg are happy the NHL is back. But people in Winnipeg know that the Jets in no way can be a sucky team and embarass this city. Espcially with all the support they are getting.
