I could ave sworn that the code gets all fouled up sometime, oh well, must be my cataracts... On another note, bring back the Smite! ETA: see, see, when you quote a post they get all forked up, tell me someone else sees it? "http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/ashamed/ashamed0006.gif" border="0" alt=":sweat:" /> sadly...I don't think there is anything we can do about that (but I may try to look into it at some point)...those URLs which show up in the quotes are all attached to the extra smilies that we added after someone requested them...the only way to add them is via link to another site...this is a proboard forum which allows for limited modifications mainly via placing script in the footers and headers...

You may want to post about this in the Proboards support forum. What I can easily see is that something about quoting a post with the custom smilies causes coding problems. I don't think it has to do with hotlinking because then the custom smilies wouldn't work at all.

I don't think it has to do with hotlinking because then the custom smilies wouldn't work at all. Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing. Note, however, that I am using 2 separate scripts for 2 different sets of extra smilies...and this happens to both sets of smilies...we have extra smilies above the posting box and a pop up set...but both sets are showing the URL when quoting... EDIT: I might have been wrong...it appears the problem ONLY affects the 9 added smilies on the top of the the posting box...and that the problem doesn't occur with the similies in the pop up window...the easiest solution is to move them to the pop up box...but based on experience ppl will not use them as much if they aren't convenient...

Ah, I see what code it is now. It might be conflicting with the other emoticon coding, but I'm not too familiar with Javascript.

Hopefully it works. Edit: Yup. So all the custom emoticons will be found in the pop-up from now on?

However, there are ways to make sure that little or no ads interrupt your web browsing experience ...

2 Things;
1. Take off the 'Brand new Jets Hockey forum!' from the advertising box at the top of the home page, as it's not new, just a suggestion ;p
2. 'RIP Dave Kheler, a great Jet fan who will be missed' or something to that character, in the advertisements box at the top

shoutbox in its current location is a fail.
it needs to move to a spot that is seen. or just kill it all together.
