Incredible! We are blessed beyond words. Thank you David Thomson and Mark Chipman! With leadership like this both players and fans will reach higher and higher!

He has a genuine love of hockey, from his father and grandfather, and a genuine love for Winipeg/Manitoba and the people therein. So owning the Winnipeg Jets is personal, not a toy or tax write off. THANK YOU MR THOMSON With a reported price of $170 million i'm thinking Thomson is the greater majority owner. So, we better hope that his two daughters love hockey / Winnipeg / Manitoba the way he does. Having said that I'm guessing he'll be around for the next 25-30 years or more (god willing) but after that it'll be his heirs that decide whether hockey is an investment or something more. However, as both of them are coming in tomorrow with their dad for the Jets / Montreal home opener I'm hoping that's a sign that they (or at least one of them) has the same passion as he does ! Thank you Mr. Thomson.....

I'd say he deserves to be Knighted, but he's already 3rd Baron Thomson of Fleet.

This guy is some sort of Buddhist Monk Philosopher. Wow. I wish I had 1/10 of his speaking skills.... ... remember when Barry Shankerow was the owner of the Jets? Oh, how times have changed

A stunningly poetic interview. We as Jets fans are blessed beyond measure to have class such as Thomson and Chipman as owners.

This interview is better than any pre-game special TSN or CBC can dream up. Thompson is eloquent, passionate and genuine. He encapsulates the energy of this moment. I feel blessed to be going to this game and want to thank the owners, players and all of you fans for making this impossible dream a reality.
