Am I missing something here? I was at the home opener on sunday, and either I must've been real drunk and didn't notice the blue seats.. or they did these after the game on Sunday.

Hmm... I too could have sworn they were green on Sunday! You sure your camera is giving an accurate idea of colour?

According to someone I follow on Twitter, the seats are green but under certain light conditions they appear blue. There haven't been any changes to seat colours.

Different white balance setting on the camera, different angles, slightly different lighting = different appearance of the seats.
There was a similar discussion about the TN backdrop they used for pressers back in the ROTJ forum days.

Sorry to be a negative nelly... but I hope that if/when they replace some seat upholstery they also find a way to add more cup holders in the corner sections. Because the number of seats (and cupholders attached to back of each) per row increases as you move up rows, rows in corners are short anywhere from 0 to 4 cup holders. My row is 12 seats and the row in front is 9 so we are 3 holders short. It's a mad dash to get there early and "claim" it by placing your beer in one before someone else does! I'm going to start bringing my beer hat to the games.

MTS Centre practices are rarely open to the public.
Public practices are usually at the IcePlex.

in previous pictures over the last little while, the seats have appeared blue as well...certain cameras seem to show blue under this type of lighting.
