Actually for the Moose, they had a guy playing organ and another playing guitar, they were located in the zamboni area Only in playoffs or retro night. Ok, that explains it then

The owner of the Minnesota Wild said in an interview that they had 3 years to prepare for the return of the NHL and that wasn't enough time to get everything done. He said he has no idea how True North could possibly attempt to do it in 3 months. Everyone who complains about anything that TN is doing right now can eat a winnipeg dong. Give them a break already. They have been dealt the impossible. Hey Trigger, can you find that in a quote just so I can reference it every time someone complains about TNSE and the MTS Centre. People forget that we didn't have a super amount of time to do all this. Yes, TNSE new they were likely next, as such they started doing things like the press boxes. However, this is a process. We as fans should be thankful for what we have today and if nothing is improved at all by the end of the season, then raise your voices. Give them some slack for F sakes. They did in a few months what normally takes years. It was on the NHL channel on XM radio... a while ago now, around the time when all this started. I think it was war room but I really am not sure.

I think TNSE has done a whole lot in a short time and deserves so much credit. Minnesota was a little different though being an expansion franchise...everything from scratch.

What we do know for sure now is that the OP has no clue what he is talking about. He made some good points, but his credibility went out the window after watching the chicago game. It is pretty funny that he tries so hard though. High 5 for persistence.

I'd have to agree with a lot of ppl on here when I say I'm sure TNSE will purchase a new scoreboard eventually. And I'm sure more upgrades will come after this season is complete. But more importantly, what are they going to do about the washroom situation. I'm not sure it can be expanded, or more can be installed, so my suggestion would be to make some women's washrooms into men's. Every time you walk by a women's washroom, there's not much or any of a line up.

Upgrades cost money, they just spent Millions and Millions of dollars to by the team. They still have to make money. Upgrades will take time.
Besides he spewed a bunch of bs about how our goal song somehow makes us a poor entertainment arena. We had one goal at home and it was so loud nobody heard the music anyway.

He had some good points in his first post (not all good points, but some) but it does seem like his credibility is shot... On a seperate note, can someone honestly tell me what the goal song is? I've asked a few times but I think people assumed I was being sarcastic and making fun of the sound system... I do think the sound system needs improving (eventually) but I legit want to know what the song is!

Exactly we do want TNSE to make money right? So maybe lets not flip out at them for not spending more money on a jumbo tron after spending 170 million to buy us a team. Especially when the current one works fine.

Keep in my mind where some of the money for MTSC upgrades will be coming from? VLT's in an un yet named or constructed bar/restaraunt establishment attached to the MTSC via walkway and currently under contruction behind closed doors. Once the money starts flowing the upgrades will happen in due time. But now that the centre is moving to the big leagues with a National Hockey League team the province is adding another 90 gaming machines at the facility, which are expected to bring in an additional $4 million a year.
The additional funding is guaranteed for 20 years, which means True North could net more than $100 million in the expanded deal www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/story/2011/06/02/mb-mts-centre-subsidy-raised.html

The crowed was so bluddy loud for 2 minutes that it wouldnt matter what sound system you had in there. My wife was right beside me and I could even tell her who scored the goal it was so loud. This is not a sound system issue in this case, this is a HOLY CRAP THE CROWD IS THE LOUDEST EVER issue.

This, it was so lound I couldn't hear the anthem singers (turns out that was a good thing) I couldn't hear the goal song, but that's supposed to pump the crowd up, we don't need that right now

I feel like a lot of these issues have been discussed before.
-it was tough to hear the goal song....probably because we only scored once and when we did, people went nuts cheering. Personally, I favor cheering instead of listening to some song.
-I like the fact that we kept Mick E Moose. A mascot is for kids anyway. It shouldn't garner this much attention. If people want to complain about a moose not fitting with the Jets, please explain to me how whatever Benny was fit with the original Jets.
