I hate the CFL... Am a diehard NFL fan... HOWEVER... I do watch Bomber games when they aren't on Sundays. I have a few other friends who are the same way. Why would the CFL put both Finals on a Sunday which competes with Canadians who love watching the NFL with their proline tickets and fantasy football? They have such a good thing with Wendy's Friday Night, why diverge from that? Because TSN told them to do it, TSN pretty much controls that kind of thing, they want the 2 games in the afternoon when they have nothing on followed by sunday night football.

I think CFL should do a Friday night game, and then do 3 games on Saturday. When NFL starts, I hate having CFL games on Sunday and having to miss NFL games. I'd rather be able to watch everything than be forced to make a choice of which league to watch.

I heard a interview with the Commissioner a couple years ago on this as I wondered the same thing. Apparently they tried the games on different days at one point and they have better rating's on Sunday with the NFL on as much as that may surprise you.

This will be one of - if not THE greatest sports year in Winnipeg history if the Bombers pull it off and win the Grey Cup. What a way to cap off a wild 2011.
