I voted for being put in with the current Central division teams, but really either setup is suitable.

Central only if Detroit stays in the Central.
Northwest otherwise...

Why is this a question they should not go to the western conference!

either division is fine, but IMO i want nothing to do with playing the oilers regulary in the future! it could be the 80s all over....we are good, they are unreal! i think Chevy has made it clear that staying within the central time zone is first choice

As much as I would love to see them in a division with Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver...the allure of a central division rivalry (and the Blackhawks making multiple trips to the MTSC) is pretty good. I voted for the central time zone division.

Even though I live in Calgary, I would prefer the Jets stay in the Central division.
Less travel and more games in the Central time zone.

I voted for the first set--that just seems more natural--but the second set is likely what it will be.

Tough choice, since Chicago is by far my favourite Western Conference team, although I think St. Louis and Minnesota are LAME. I'm a season ticket holder so I base my choice on the teams I'll be seeing the most.
I chose the Canadian-based teams because Edmonton looks to be very exciting for many years to come, and the Canucks are one of the league's marquee teams.
...still, Chicago alone almost swayed me the other way.

I'll take whatever is in the Jets favour. It's hard to say what that is, but most likely playing in central time zone, which helps TV ratings and thus gives the team more money. Next to that, I see Edmonton Vancouver and Calgary as all being teams that should be above average and very good at times, so I'd rather play against Minnesota and St. Louis to help our chances of winning. Lastly, I'd like to see every team in the league play a home and home. There is no reason why in 41 home games we shouldn't see every team at least once.

Central all the way. I need my 3 Hawks games a year!

Central, if you please. The Oilers are set to become a dynasty and I still have issues stemming from their beating on our Jets year after year.
And while I like the west coast games, and being able to sit down at 9:30 after the kids are in bed to watch the Jets in Vancouver, I'd rather see them skip the inter-time-zone travel for their own good.
Oh, and I'm a Blues man myself (after the Jets, of course!)
