Is it just me or does CBC have their camera farther away from the action? Personally, I prefer TSN's coverage. It's a little more in depth as far as analysis and pre and post-game coverage (obviously since it's regional coverage and CBC can't do that). CBC always seems to send the third rate announcers here but we do get Ron McLean and Don Cherry which is cool.

I prefer TSN because they use the original Hockey Night in Canada theme song.

TSN has the better commentators thats for sure. listening to a HNIC broadvast for the Jets is painful!! the ONLY thing that is saving CBC right now is Ron Maclean and the HotStove segment. even Coach's Corner is getting stale.

TSN Jets zooms in too close to the players sometimes and has some pretty poor camera angles. Like the angle from behind the net on the penalty kill. I know they're trying to give the goalie perspective or something, but I find it hard to follow the play. But for overall coverage, I do like TSN better.

CBC audio is100 times better than TSN, you really notice it if you have a good surround sound system.

Plus you can turn off center channel and you now have no announcers.

I bet this poll would be dramatically different if TSN still had Pierre McGuire.

Oh my gosh, don't even get me started! I live in northwest ontario so we don't get CBC in HD for some reason?..., so for one i'm stuck watching it in standard def. (we get TSN Jets in HD) And for two, The voice of the CBC sounds like he's bored at the game or something. It has gotten so bad, that i've tried to sync up tunein radio on TSN radio 1290 on my ipod to the game by pausing the tv so the radio can catch up. <3 Denis Beyak and Brian Munz!

It depends on how often we get the national CBC team.
I enjoy CBC for Ron Maclean and the Satellite Hotstove segments. If TSN could pull it off, scooping RM as their hockey guru would be a wise move.

CBC's commentators are terrible. Not in HD.
TSN is way better then CBC!!!!
The guys on CBC were bagging groceries 2 months ago. It's actually quite pathetic!

I used to love Coach's Corner, but it just follows the same format every time following Jets hockey...
1. Leafs (Even if they aren't playing) 2. Bruins (Even if they aren't playing) 3. "All the kids out there..." rant 4. The troops 5. If they have time, they mention Wellwood or Antropov... (Although MacLean did bring up Kane lately)
Figured since Cherry was a huge vocal supporter of our return into the league, you think he would mention the great play lately...
And I don't like how CBC dulls down the crowd volume on TV. Half the time, our arena even sounds empty...
