Easy enough to answer these questions, I'll give you until Thanksgiving.
1. How many points do the Jets end up with this season? 0-164 2. Where do they finish in the Division? 1st thru 5th 3. Do they make the playoffs? Yes or No

I have the Jets finishing somewhere between 8th and 12th spot optimistically in the Eastern Conference.

Apparently it's NOT easy to answer all 3 questions... I thought you could arrive at the approximate answers to all 3 questions based on the info I provided above. 1. 85 - 95 points range.* 2. 3rd or 4th. 3. Only if everything goes right. In other words, they'd almost have to overachieve, much like the Coyotes the last couple of seasons. * Upper range represents the optimistic scenario.

- 86-88 points - 4th in the division ( beat out Panthers) - Just missing playoffs, OR just squeaking in. Close either way, depends on their run the last 1/2 of the season or better yet last 2 months.

This is hard because they could finish 0-82 and I would still consider it a great season because the jets are back! With that said.
1) 88 2)3rd 3)Yes 8th place and taking Washington to 7 games in the first round.

90 points 3rd Playoffs - yes, but a hard-fought first round exit, unfortunately.

Jim & pdenny have the right idea... I'll explain the format to the rest of you.
1. A number. 2. A place. 3. Yes or no. No need to qualify your answer with, "Yes... well I mean if they win enough games they make the playoffs."

"My expectations" I expect to have a blast watching my team! After 16 years just happy to have them back, and if we don't ever win a cup I really don't care, my prayers were answered to get my team back PERIOD, thats it!!! Now drop the puck!

they will finish 39-36-7 with 85 points they will finish 4th in the division, probably right behind the hurricanes they will finish probably 10th in the conference just ahead of the maple leafs, missing out of the playoffs by 6 points

Do they make the playoffs? Yes or No 1. 164 2. 1st 3. Yes and then win the cup Why would I expect anything less from a team that I cheer for? Obviously they won't win every game , and will be in tough to make the playoffs, but if I don't expect them to win every night how can I ask them to? There has to be a new culture surrounding the Jets, one where expectations are high.
