I like Seattle, as the Canucks would be a natural rival. I also like the idea of Milwaukee but I have no idea if it would work there. If the NHL were a 32 team league there could be the 4-8 team divisions. West: Vancouver, Seattle, San Jose, LA, Anaheim, Colorado, Edmonton, Calgary Central: Winnipeg, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, St. Louis, Detroit East: Toronto, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Washington, Columbus, New Jersey Atlantic: Quebec, Montreal, Boston, NYR, NYI, Tampa Bay, Florida, Carolina
I'd like to have 2 Canadian teams in each division but its impossible unless you break-up EDM-CGY and switch with Dallas, which does not make sense.

Why did Seattle lose the Supersonics?

I have no votes if the league expands to 32 teams. I would like to see the league relocate 2 teams. Florida and Phoenix. The product is watered down enough already. Noel was complaining that his team looked like AHL'ers, it's because he was starting 3 or 4 AHL level players.

Why did Seattle lose the Supersonics? New ownership (from Oklahoma City) couldn't get government funding for a new venue. No new venue and team moved to Oklahoma City. Sound familiar?

Central: Winnipeg, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, St. Louis, DetroitAlso good... East: Toronto, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Washington, Columbus, New JerseyAlso good... Atlantic: Quebec, Montreal, Boston, NYR, NYI, Tampa Bay, Florida, CarolinaALSO good...but I doubt Florida will hang around for that long, by the time we can have 32 teams, they'll be gone...hopefully to Hartford? If it's Kansas City, then maybe move them to the Central, NSH to the East, and NJ to the Atlantic? I'd like to have 2 Canadian teams in each division but its impossible unless you break-up EDM-CGY and switch with Dallas, which does not make sense. Too right... Really, that would be the ideal league, I think, or as close to it as we can get...

For some reasons I was almost tempted to vote Atlanta just for lulz then suggest Phoenix gets two teams (one in the America West Arena or whatever it was called). But seriously I think Seattle could work. Hamilton too but it would kill the Sabres. Hartford could work if they started to build a new arena, but judging by their attendance figures in the past I'm not confident it would have as much success as it did in Winnipeg. It would probably be more like Nashville, Carolina, Tampa or one of those teams that rarely sell out but still draw just enough to meet both ends.
