With the strong possibility of a lockout, I thought now would be a good time to ask what non-Jets event you're most looking forward to at the MTS Centre this fall/winter.

Roxette tonight, if only because I want to see what changes happened in MTS over the last few weeks.

Deuce, you're going to Roxette? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. um, I mean... see you there, bud. Tix were an anniversary gift for the wife! Honest! It must have been love - no doubt because she's got the look. On an unrelated matter, it looks like the chances of having an NHL season are fading like a flower. Listen to your heart - you know there'll be no joyride this year. Labour negotiations can be dangerous. (Tix were in fact an anniversary gift for the better half but I have no objections to Roxette, in principal or fact. If you see me heading to a Justin Bieber concert however you are pre-approved to lay an epic smiting on me.) m.

^^ here's how the convo went in my house:
wife: "I think you should take me to Roxette." me: "Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine"
can't believe she hounded me so bad like that, the nerve of her.

Ha. I almost put Roxette as an option, but I thought "nahh... the concert is tonight & how many guys on here are going?" 80's music does rule though... Anyways, let us know what renovations/modifications have been done to MTS Centre in the last 6 weeks.

I'm looking forward to the T-Wolves game, I know its only exhibition but I'm going with a good friend so that makes it something to look forward to seeing live, Chili Peppers would be a close second but I don't have tickets

To anyone who did the Roxette concert last night: Can you believe how much they got done in the arena in ONE month?

RHCP..no question. huge fan since 88. Waited almost 20 years to see them last time and it was worth it. It will be a little different with Josh on guitar but he is a Frusciante protege so I"m rooting for the kid.

To anyone who did the Roxette concert last night: Can you believe how much they got done in the arena in ONE month?m. Can you elaborate? What was done? I saw a new poster! It featured Andrew Ladd! And that was about it. Same old scoreboard (from what I could see, it was raised for the concert), same speakers, no new ribbonboard. Maybe some new lighting? Couldn't tell... Very anti-climactic. m.

80's music does rule though... "It gets to a point though, where you grow tired & weary of constantly looking at the past. That's no way to live life." Sound familiar? ;D
