Still don't understand why the flames would put their farm team in Canuck Country and so far from all the other teams yeeesh....As for the caps I would love it if Jets TV broadcasted the IceCaps games

Playoff games I would watch for sure. Sorry I just don't want to here the name the Moose again, it still turns my stomach, a 15 year stretch I don't want to remember. I will be happy the day they change the mascot. Manitoba Moose. Moose, Moose, Moose, Moose, Moose.

I like our mascot, new and improved, with a nod to our past
Perfect

I don't think it would be right to have the Ice Caps play any games here. It just wouldn't be fair to the fans in St. John's. Given that we are headed into a lengthly lockout i will be following the Ice Caps even closer than i did last year.
Funny, in all the years of having the Moose i never really cared about them (b/c its the Canucks farm team) but i care deeply about the Ice Caps....

I'm good with the idea of the Ice Caps playing a road game here. I'm sure Abbotsford's owners would be happy to get a Winnipeg-esque gate in their pockets.
AHL teams move all the time - didn't Edmonton have an AHL team moved up for one season in the lockout year? Let's all chip in a few bucks and buy us a team. We'll call them the JHF Jokers.

However my memory of AHL games on TV is like it was shot on my uncles Camcorder circa 1987. This is from the Jets' farm team in Moncton in 1992. AHL Broadcasts weren't all bad back then!

I care more about the IceCaps than the team I have season tickets to (W-B/Scranton). Does this make me a horrible person?
