The lockout is on and, at best, I think everyone believes it'll last a few months.
How are YOU coping?

Follow the IceCaps and watch TV.

12 options? Is that it?
Thanks to the lockout, I know my wife and kids will probably appreciate having my attention on Saturday nights again...
I plan to watch the CFL until November, of course (sorry, to all you Curtis Walker-types out there). After that, I will follow the Caps (somewhat) and head out to Abbotsford to catch a few Heat games.

I've heard 'Game of Thrones' is pretty good. I plan to hit up iTunes for season one and give it a look-see.
And then - my wife and I are expecting twins! Arrival is expected in January so my Jets participation was going to take a nose-dive after Ukrainian Christmas anyway...

Thx! We'll have four kids, the oldest will be four years old. A recipe for sedate, quiet evenings, no? The oldest is still too young to understand 'lockout' so he's coping quite well. I just throw on a PVR of one of the games I didn't delete and he blissfully starts his 'Go Jets Go' chant. The 18 month old is well on his way, freezing in awe whenever a hockey game appears on the tv screen. Good genes, no? There's a missing option on the poll: watch PVR'd games from 2011-12 pretending they're happening live! I'll bet on the Jets beating the Bruins at MTS - twice. Anyone takers on that action? m.

^ good post. Kudos on the imminent arrivals and on the displacement of the genes.
As for 'Game of Thrones' I predict you'll love it. Very addictive program also.

AHL season tickets to WBS is gonna save my sanity...
..if only Pitt gave us any star. But no, the most noteworthy player we got is Simon Despres (though that one's not bad)

Watching baseball but that's coming to an end really soon for me. Maybe I'll watch MMA.
