A somewhat negative review. He sums it up with this: "Overall, I was not impressed with the MTS Centre. Preventing fans from accessing both levels is stupid and a fix needs to be found. Having obstructed views is something I expect from rinks built in the 1950s, not in 2004. There is also no free wifi, which should be an arena standard going forward. I know that the team is new and the fans are excited, but they deserve better than what they are getting here."Read the full review HERE: sportsroadtrips.blogspot.ca/2012/02/tampa-bay-lightning-3-at-winnipeg-jets.html(some great photos of MTSC in here too)

I'm not aware of any blocked views. Most people I've talked to say there is not a bad seat in the house. I only have my experience to go by, but from where I sit the view is only affected by the rail. Every single arena in the world has that problem.
As to first level access to second level? WTF really cares? It has never been an issue to anyone I know.
Amazing. Typical of the uncreative and unimaginative. There are so many positives about attending a Jet game and this bozo nit-picks...

In general I defend the MTS Centre but I do think there are sight line issues that are largely ignored. Review some of the threads from when the season started and you'll see some pretty bad looking pictures from the upper deck. I'm not sure I heard an agreed upon final number of seats with issues though. And as far as the lower level access, it's not a huge deal but it can be kind of annoying sometimes. He pointed out that you can get a full Tim Hortons menu which is unavailable in the upper deck, but the thing that I've had happen is trying to meet up for a drink with someone during an intermission, but you can't because the other person is in the other bowl. He definitely makes it out to be worse than it is though.

If people don't like the MTS Centre, then let real Jets fans buy the tickets. They won't care how fancy the arena is. Who cares about WIFI? Don't go to the games if you're going to sit and text people. That's what Vancouverites do at Canucks games. Jets fans actually watch the game.

Damn, Slippy - your wiener just keeps expanding and looking crazier. Is it on drugs? You know, like, Viagra, or something?

Love going to Jets games, but MTSC should do some upgrades. (Apperantly they are.)
Will still go to any game I can attend and have a blast regardless.

Overall MTSC is IMO a B- in grade. Its fine, does the job as needed but it definitely isnt a premier arena. I personally like the size a 19000 seat area just wouldt give the same vibe. The concourse (upperdeck) is freaking tight. And of couse the washroom issue (Insert beating a dead horse comment here). Concession lines are also very long at times. As far as sight lines...fantastic. I've sat just about everywhere in MTSC from Moose games, World Junior games, NHL exibition games, Jets, or Concerts..Have never sat in even a marginal seat. Always fantastic. Seats its self are a little tight for a big guy though.

My problem are the concourses. When you watch TSNJets and they show a shot of the opposing concourse it look so much more luxurious and appealing. I really wish when they designed the MTS Centre they would have taken a page from the Xcel Energy Center in St.Paul and put their concessions on opposite side and open up concourse to the ice.

Probably didn't have enough room to do that considering the small plot of land it was squished onto.

I don't really care for all the window dressing, WIFI ....are you kidding me. Myself and everyone around me is so into the game we couldn't care less about all that other crap. Best atmosphere in the league, that's what matters to me.
