Although I side with the owners during this lockout, I don't think Hainsey should get booed as he is only doing what the other players elected him to do (represent the Jets players and be a strong voice for the NHLPA in trying to get the best deal they can).

I think it 's funny that some people think we should wait to boo him when he's on the opposing team.....you're all assuming there is some other GM in the league who wants to sign this guy and extend his career!
Hainsey's DONE!! Boo him while you got a chance to.

I like the wording of the third option "NEVER! Sacrilege to Boo a Jet in MTS Center!"
...so its ok to boo him at the IcePlex, or at the local Royal Sports when he's looking for a discount, or a local restaurant or pub!?!?!
I don't discriminate against Geography....I'll boo him wherever he is!!

If they lose the season it wont matter, becasue I think there is no chance in hell the jets resign him. For the jets to resign him at market value he would have to take a 1-1.5 million dollar paycut, and after seeing the way he thinks in this whole CBA mess, he wont be willing to take 1 dollar less than hes making now.

But there are some silly people out there!

I think he will sign somewhere, but if he doesnt take a 1.5-2 million dollar paycut, it wont be in winnipeg.

I know we are against the players for the most part in these negotiations but frankly I don't really get the hate for Hainsey, on or off the ice. He signed a contract when there were very few veteran defenseman on the market. Sure he was overpaid because of that, but that's how the market works. He was honestly one of our better defensive defensemen in my opinion last season.

I plan on booing every single player when hockey starts again. They are going to hear how I feel.

Thats why i said if he doesnt take a big paycut he wont be resigning here.
