Would be nice to see, but i wouldn't be able to go to games as i'm tapped out with Jets tickets. I wonder how many people would attend games (4k, 5k?)

i would love this, as a full jets ticket holder i wouldnt be able to go to all games, but a quarter would be doable.

Its an interesting turnaround for TN as I seem to recall them saying they had no interest in anything other than the NHL. But it would make sense. I am sure they realise there is a large amount of people who were Moose followers who cannot afford Jets tickets who might get in on this.
Factoring in the waiting list also. And the synergy between the two teams and cross-marketing opportunities etc, it could be very successful.
Interesting to consider people wondered if we could ever afford the NHL and now our ownership group may soon own teams at three levels of hockey.

I think the wait list provides a perfect target audience, as well as just lots of people who can't afford or choose not to attend Jets games - especially with their kids.
With how much time and money I spend attending Jets games I probably couldn't go to more than a handful of junior games a year. But I'd definitely go to a handful, and if most season ticket holders went to even a handful, that would be a success right there, never mind all the people not lucky enough to have Jets tickets at any given time.

Personaly I am not sure if it will work with the Jets in town. Maybe if we had a population of a million or more it may be doable. With Bombers and Goldeyes in town people are going to be tapped out for cash.

I don't think cash will be the limiting factor - the two teams would be attended by different demographics. I would have trouble rationalizing taking my four year old and two year old to a Jets game at $120 per head but I'd have no problem taking them to a Warriors game for $12 each. What might be a limiting factor for Jets/Warriors supporters is time. I don't have 42 evenings per year to catch all the Jets' regular season games much less add a WHL team schedule. I just hope this WHL team gets some games on TV. Do other WHL teams get any local TV coverage on game day? m.

I answered the survey. Think it's a good idea, however I can't see myself making much time to go see them. With two young kids and 25ish Jets games, there isn't much time to for another hockey team to go see during that season.

I'd tell the Jets I completely support them but that I would not be attending very many games as I'm a Jets STH, I split Bomber STH, plus I'm old and lazy...

That is more or less the same as my thoughts, but realistically if even half of season ticket holders went to even a handful of games a year, I think that would be enough of a fan base to support a team, especially once you couple that with the rest of the population.

I took the survey, I would go to maybe one or two games a year.

I don't have ST. I would try to purchase mini packs. I think it would be fantastic to have a WHL team. The World Jrs would be even better !!!
