I have this thing at home. It plays NES, Super NES and Sega Genessis. ![](http://a248.e.akamai.net/origin-cdn.volusion.com/fhc9g.u42go/v/vspfiles/photos/Retron3_NES_SNES-Gen_System-4.jpg?1333699896) The original remotes plug in... NES on left-hand side, Sega on right-hand side, and Super NES on the front.

Think that's a retron 3. Those are okay but have some compatibility issues with a few games as well as the sound can be a bit off. There is a crazier one coming out with HD output and u can plug nes snes or genesis controllers in. And it has no compatibility issues! I think it's called retron 5. Totally getting it!!

Tecmo Superbowl was amazing. I had an old system, cant remember what it was. It had a soft keyboard, was silver (I think) and had some rip off games like KC Munchkin (instead of PacMan). Loved that system. Odyssey? m. Yeah I think that was it!! It was cool and no one else I knew had one.

It was probably an Odyssey 2.
I had one. I asked for an Atari 2600 and got an Odyssey 2, but loved it anyway until my Commodore 64 arrived. C64 was the best value ever delivered in a home computer.

We had a VIC 20 first. That became out go-to gaming system. Loading up games on a casette, waiting for ages for them to load.
I remember my mom buying a 64 for my dad for Christmas and it was like the greatest gift he ever got. He loved it. He spent many long hours copying programming code from computer magazines to create games for us. That really was a fantastic computer. And some great games!

I seem to recall that the Vic 20 took cartridges. Gorf was one that comes to mind.
My first computer was a hard-core IBM clone. The Tandy 1000 EX. 256 K of ram and a double-sided 5.25 floppy and the unheard of 1200 Baud modem.
I miss Atomic Bug's Post Nuclear Caberet... along with a bunch of other BBS's.

The VIC-20 did take cartridges but I think we had maybe two. Everything else was on cassette.

I'm mixing up Vectrex with another small system from the 1983 era. Does anyone recall one that was advertised as '3D' and was handheld? You had to hold it up to your eyes...
