Don't mean to thread-hijack, but as I don't own a console can anybody tell me if there is an updated NHL game for iPhone coming any time soon? I don't want to buy the current one because it still doesn't have the Jets (my only reason for loving the NHL again...).
Thanks!

Jets and caps are correct now. Don't know about iPhone.
Heard some people complaining about the difficulty of the game. First game, I win 10-2 over oilers. Second game, I come back from 4-0 in the first period to lost 5-4 in ot. Third game I win 2-0 with an empty netter. Sort of all over the place.

Oddly I've noticed the MTSC but I will take a look next time I play. Which will be in five minutes.

How does the MTS Centre look in the new version? m. Two levels of seating. One ribbon. But the visiting team enters from the side rather than the corner. Scoreboard looked similar too.

I noticed that in NHL 12 as well (the last version of the franchise I bought). I'm surprised it's not been fixed yet. m.

mts centre looks okay, not exact..doesnt have the lounge or same type of seperation between 1 and 200 level but its generic arena close enough. they still dont have the proper goal horn.. thats pretty annoying. how hard is it to put the sound in? btw can someone tell me how to win a bloomin face off? i cant do it for my life no matter how i try it. (ps3)

to win a faceoff: 1. line up. 2. right anolog stick, move it either left or right and hold it there. 3. pull down on right anolog stick when ref drops puck.
thats it.

I'm actually way better at face offs this year than last years. One thing that is often true, the longer you are in position for the face off the "stronger" you are. Ie get your stick in position (either right or left) as soon as possible and don't move it til the ref drops the puck. If I flinch too early I almost always lose the draw because the opposing player who didn't move is now "stronger" on his stick.
Just finished my first season. Presidents trophy with the jets. Wheeler wins art Ross, rocket Richard and Hart. Buff wins Norris. Scheif wins Calder. Pavs won the most games but had deplorable save percentage and below average gaa.
Lost the conference final to Chicago (I got bored and simmed most of the games, intervening in the third down 4-1 and lost 6-4 to be eliminated).

well the pull down as soon as the puck drop works about .01 % of the time for me.. now with the waiting with the analog stick at the side and then pulling it down when the ref drops the puck I win about 40% of the faceoffs.. I still have to get the timing more right but its much better..thanks!

Depending on what way you hold the stick (left/right) determines what grip you have on the stick. I find it counter-intuitive to adjust this and my timing is always better with the direction I'm more used to it
