What I'd like to happen next season; Montoya/Clutch tandem with Montoya playing about 55-60 games.
What will probably happen; Pavs/Clutch tandem with Pavs playing 70 games.....
Pavs needs to suck so bad they have no choice but to go in a different direction.

I feel bad for Pasqualle, next year could have been his chance and maybe still will. Montoya's stats wern't all that impressive when he was the temporary #!

Montoya's overall stats were impressive enough - especially compared to Pavs. He was bound to regress from his unsustainable numbers early in the season but even his bad numbers were no worse then Pavs's. m.

^ Yes, when compared to Pav, who is supposed to be a legitimate #1, his stats are great. But Monty just isn't good enough to be the #1 he wants to be in the NHL. We have a lot of goatending talent in the minors and I think its time we look to the farm and breing players up into the big leagues. We have been trying to develop a mentality and playing style through the farm team now its time we can use that.

I'm thinking Hutchinson will be with the Jets this year as back up to Ondrej Pavelec (sure wish they'd buy Pavs out though). I guess I could be ok with that combo as long as common sense prevails and they play the goalie who ACTUALLY gives us the best chance to win. No more of this "Pav is our #1" (no matter how much he's struggling) garbage.
And to get back on topic, GO HUTCH, GO CAPS!!!

Ice Caps can clinch a spot in the Calder Cup Finals for the first time since 2009 when they were the Moose

Ice Caps lose 4-2, still lead the series 3-2. Penguins scored with 15 seconds left to lead, then scored an empty netter.

Last 2 games are in St.Johns so hopefully that'll work in their favour.
