Lets face it the press is ALL over this thing.
Bribes.
money being funneled into grandkids bank accounts.
Now a german official is suspended for not cooperating.
On top of the bribes you have a potential 4000 workers predicted to die building stadiums.
ON TOP of that the world cup would interfere with the UEFA schedule.
And it doesnt have to be long notice.
The united states could host it on 1 years notice.
12 Stadiums? EAST--
Boston NY Philly DC
Central--
KC Chicago Dallas (cotton bowl not arlington (explained below) Michigan- big house (Detroit host city)
WEST--
PHX Seattle San Fran LA
THats for the groups 12 stadiums 12 groups.
Then you do the knock out rounds
4 stadiums
NY Chicago PHX Dallas- this time use the arlington stadium
Then the Final four
At the rose bowl

and for the us stadiums with turf? EASY solution.
thought about it this year when Gillette got new field turf. the old turf was ripped up and replaced in a week.
So what do you do?
the day football season ends you tear up all the field turf stadiums, grow natural grass. The day it ends you have plenty of time to replace the field turf which are replaced regularly anyway.

If It gets moved ( and I think it should, but won't be surprised if it stays) then England is where it will be going.

If It gets moved ( and I think it should, but won't be surprised if it stays) then England is where it will be going. no flipping way england gets it. No way. They dont need england. It does nothing for the sport The usa has pretty much been declared the second choice...we were second in balloting that year too. England if i remember didnt get a single vote when they lost in 2018 USA means more money....england means giving fun to a market that doesnt need it. if 2022 gets revoted then the replacement spots should be the spots that bid in 2022 with the usa being the most likely destination as it has the least impact on infrastructure and will have the biggest growth of the sport

Too soon for the US to get another WC. IMHO. England will get it.

Too soon for the US to get another WC. IMHO. England will get it. Im not sure they will even be considered. I really think they will open it up to USA, South Korea, and Australia. its not about too soon. England doesnt need it. Theres no room for growth. Soccer is king. USA 1994 is not that recent....in 1994 there was nothing, no league, no presence. and it blew up. in 2014 with an actual presence....man it will be huge.

its all about too soon. South Korea??.....just had it. not getting it. Australia??....think Canada...not enough infrasturcture . rugby and AFL staduims i dont think will meet FIFA standards. could be wrong, but in any case, nope. the whole world plays the game, so i dont see the "grow the game" argument. plus, its a really weak argument to take. its like the NHL stealing teams from canada and plopping them in the states just to grow the game with the rationale that the canadians are fans anyways, so they will keep spending money. its is England's turn. and they will host a FANTASTIC World Cup. you reward your supporters in FIFA, you dont penalize them.(When they arent taking bribes that is ) IMHO

The are so many countries in Europe that could host the damn thing tomorrow because they have all the stadiums built. England, Germany, Italy, Spain could all host it and it would make a ton of money. I honestly have no idea how well the US could host it bu put it to another vote. However I don't see that happening as Quatar will just pay FIFA to overlook the problems and leave the event there.

You arent listening. ITS USA because of the reasons Australia and south korea being too soon. Oh and rugby stadiums are well up to snuff for soccer. same site lines. same widgth and length. AFL is too big but you can do temp seating. But doesnt matter. there are so many nfl stadiums in large cities. And since we are the only option left and since england didnt get a single vote in 2018....and the usa came in second in 2022. USA gets it. It doesnt matter if its been too long. England doesnt need it they get hundreds of soccer matches a year that are huge. No growth.

No growth. we can have this argument if and when fifa moves the WC. but you are whacked in the head if you think that FIFA needs the USA to "grow the game". this is a game that is ALREADY PLAYED BY THE ENTIRE WORLD!!.... fifa does not need the USA. if they did, then MLS would not have had to change their rules and CONFORM to fifa standards. look around my friend, Brasil has sold out every venue, EVERY MAJOR TV NETWORK around the WORLD is there broadcasting the games to the farthest corners of the globe. what can NBC or FOX do that isnt already being done besides cutting of the final few minutes to break away for a horse race ( yeah, you dont get to live that one down anytime soon ) you give USA too much credit, and its not deserved. not beingt anti- US here at all. just saying it as it is. but again, lets wait and see what FIFA does with Quatar first.

I dont give usa too much credit. You are anti usa. you dont want to admit it. Its fine but you are. Its in every post you make.
We have the largest corporations on earth the most power, and a fanbase thats untapped you never stop building a game.
We are the only country on earth that could put games on and barely dent our infrastructure.
Played by the entire world...except it hasnt conquered north america.
AND mls should not have to conform to the calendar. We play the same rules and you cant play winters in Toronto, montreal, boston, etc. We cant do breaks like they do in russia. Fifa has already complained about their own calender. UEFA has commented that its a stupid calender it should be a summer sport.
Its not deserved? GO shove it dude. Seriously.
you dont like us its fine just freaking admit it.
But im right. Im right. I know im right. A world cup int he USA means more money for the sport which means more money for fifa..sorry. Puny england can wait. they dont need it. it will just break their hearts when their team gets beat up at home.
And oh lets not mention that england got 0 votes when they bid. 0. A big 0.
USA was the favorite and got screwed.

^ Difference of opinion on something that might not even happen (relocating the WC)... let's not make this a personal thing.
