Hey Jets fans. Biggest Jets fan in Oz here. You may know me from such articles as this one: www.arcticicehockey.com/2013/11/7/5073844/the-long-reach-of-the-great-game (Cheers arcticicehockey.com GOOD NEWS! I'm comin to Winnipeg!! Been working hard for the past 12 months and I'm stoked to say that by the end of the year I will be in Winnipeg to watch my very first game at the MTS center, which will honestly be a dream come true for me. That said, I'd really like to get to know some locals who share the same passion for the Jets before hand to help point me in the right direction as far as where to buy tickets, best places to stay, eat etc. Maybe even show me around town if I'm lucky. No strings attached, no expectations, I'm hoping to be in Winnipeg for a few days at very least before spending xmas in Montreal or possibly even NovaScotia with extended family, but if you would be interested in adopting a 29 year old Aussie for a couple of days please send me a PM or email to josh@honeylabs.net. Maybe I can return the favor for anyone looking to head down under in the new year? There's the beaches tourists go to and then there's the beaches the locals swim in if you get me lol. Anyways cheers Admin for giving me a voice and as always GO JETS GO !

Great to hear! When it gets closer to the time you're coming to town and depending on which team is visiting, there is often a good selection of seats available at Seat Exchange: jets.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=94582 You'll pay face-value plus fees, but I think that's your safest bet and assures you won't get turned away with a bogus ticket at the doors of MTSC. Other possibility is maybe a JHF member offers up a seat - so stay in touch, especially once hockey season starts up again.

If you let me know in advance I can set aside my seats to sell to you for a given game. I'll even do STH cost for a JHFer!
