With Claude leaving the Giants, I'd love to see this class act back with TN.
And our soon to be returning AHL team is the perfect fit, lets say it the way it is, he was great with the Moose!

I agree it would be nice to see..but for some reason I think Hawerchuck is a prime candidate...as much as I would also like to think Carlyle would also be great..I realize it wouldn't happen...

Do you guys really think Hawerchuk would come coach the Winnipeg AHL team? Perhaps, if he was eyeing to take over for Maurice when his time with the Jets comes to an end, but that would be the only reason I would imagine.
Not sure if Noel being Winnipeg's AHL head coach is a joke or not...

Are you related to the late Richard Tapper? I worked with him. He was a great guy.

I doubt he'd want to coach an AHL team in Winnipeg. Too big of a demotion in the same market he used to be on the very top of.
Plus I'm not a fan of recycling staff from the past in general. There was too much of that when the Jets 2.0 arrived in the first place.
(And do we know Keith McCambridge won't move with the team? He's one season removed from a Calder Cup final appearance so I see no need to replace him if he's good with moving).

I'd love to see Hawerchuk or Carlyle coach the AHL team. I'd love to see Hawerchuk but I can't imagine it would be anyone but the current coaching staff in St. John's. Their contracts are with TNSE, not the Ice Caps as far as I understand, so all the AHL players the Jets have under contract and all the coaches would be moving to Winnipeg. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my understanding.

I don't really use twitter for anything other than Jets stuff and mostly use instagram also, same handle for both. I get that a lot, not related at all, but I have used his services.

Sorry but I don't want Noel coaching the players that will be coming up to our big club. IMO his faults were that his expectations were too low, his systems were too lax (in every zone) and refused to bag skate the team at practices to send a message. I know he had success with the Moose before the Jets came back, but I'd like our farm team to mimmick the big club.

I personally would like to see the Winnipeg Jets offer the coaching position to Dale Hawerchuk. He has done a great job with the OHL Barrie Colts, and it would be great to get him back within the Jets organization. I would like to see Randy Carlyle as my #2 option, but it's likely another NHL team will offer him a coaching position.
