Also, how great would it be to have the Marlies play the Moose in Winnipeg on the same day that the Jets play the Leafs in Toronto? Maybe a back-to-back? Or have both games in the same city and they can split the cab fare.

I can honestly say I hate the uniforms, and wish True North had stuck with the 2005-11 version. Really? I actually like the look of the logo a lot and it feels more like it belongs to the jets. The old jersey had green in them. Yuck. I do wish the would have made the jerseys a bit different then the jets ones so it would give me a reason to get one. And I agree with Ric that the jerseys look a bit off. Maybe logo is to low? I dunno.

Why not eventually look to Saskatoon? You want quick access to the players on your farm team, and 50% of the Jets games are on the road and 80% of the road games are in the US, and 98% of AHL teams are located in the US. Having a team in Thunder Bay that is 1 hour away from T/O, an airport that you can get pretty much any ware in the US on a moments notice, is the best place Winnipeg could possibly house a farm team, only better place than that is to have your farm team in Toronto! Don't think T.Bay is a lost cause yet!

TNSE said they want this to be long term. I think it will be viable. No reason why it cant be. .. So we were debating getting amini pack.. can you pick your games for the mini pack or are they set? If we can pick them then I think we will get a pack or two but if they are pre set, not sure if we would do that.

Not sure if you get to pick games or if there will be different pack options.

I got four full seasons in the Bud Club as well. Wife actually preferred this option to a mini-pack plus we have lots of family and friends looking to take games off us.

Hmm maybe join up with the Lakehead Thunderwolves men's University Hockey Program, might find Federal funding that way, just a sought. Hell if the Bison's can do it with the Bombers they surely can do something like that in T.B. for a quarter of the cost.

Winnipeg to Toronto is 2:30. 14 flights daily from WPG to TO 12 flights daily from TBay to TO, 3 of those are on Porter Airlines that wouldn't be landing at the main terminal in TO. Winnipeg has the advantage of direct flights to numerous other NHL destinations, and a handful of other major connecting airports besides TO. Thunder Bay has absolutely zero advantage over Winnipeg when it comes to travel schedules.
