How good would we be with just NHL average goaltending!!!
Just heard on the highlights we are only second to Washington with 52 for the most goals scored in January.
30 teams in the league but we have 4 in the top 30 scorers. We would be a top 5 team if we can get it right defensively.

Can't be the defense's fault. Buff is ranked # 3 in NHL.com's: fanatsy top 50 defensemen. Trouba is newly ranked today at #50!
None of our goalies made the cut for top 25 goalies.

Did he come with Atl or was he with the Moose? I Agree by the way He was a goaltender for the Moose from 2004-07. After retiring, he was briefly goaltending coach of the Chicago Blackhawks from 2009-11. True North brought him into the Jets organization in 2011.

Why is Flaherty still the goalie coach? Stubborn organization.

I know I sound like a broken record but BEN BISHOP could be the answer! Yzerman is finally ready to deal him as he has not been productive there but he is a big guy who could put the Jets over the top. And I think his price tag is going down a bit as a result of them favouring the Russian in TB. Time to be brave and make a move Chevy!!!

No way they are giving up on him.

The Jets should just wait until after the expansion draft, or acquire a goalie at the trade deadline, and leave him unprotected. However, I still think a good goaltending coach is the difference from having Hellebuyck shine or him becoming just another average goalie.

You could make a deal with Vegas to protect Helly! I am not saying get Bishop and dump Helly!
