Great article. I still feel bad for the people of St.Johns not having an AHL team, they supported it well...but having the Moose here is great. If I wasn't splitting Jets STs I'd probably be at 10-15 Moose games a year.

I am curious if the Moose is being run the exact same way as the Jets or are the owners finally getting a paycheck from this team?

Good read, there's a lot of factors I didn't even consider when the team was out east that were mentioned.

Fans are getting a team back, not sure if they'll keep the ice caps name www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.4574043

It must be tough to expect the NHL, AHL and a Major Junior hockey team carving up the sports entertainment dollar. And the Bombers figure economically in that dollar as well. Having an AHL affiliate in Saskatoon wouldn't be a bad idea. The brother in law tells me the Lacrosse team (the Rush) sells out there. They built the arena on the north side of town with the idea of attracting a NHL franchise way back in the day. Apparently it is a Northlands clone...and of course it's outdated now!

TN made it clear that they have no intent of moving the Moose regardless of the new WHL competition, They didn't pour millions into upgrades and expansion at the Iceplex to move them.

Has anyone ever seen a fake Moose jersey?
Are they as bad as a fake Jets jersey?
