So why does Pittsburgh have such crappy attendance? Weird - is it because Crosby and Malkin are injured? What gives man......with a team like that (and Philly for that matter) they should be sold out.

Yeah I was gonna say... that's definitely wrong because Philly is always sold out and this year their actually good! And with Pitts' new building I'm sure they will be sold out every game for at least a few years.

Looks pretty accurate. Certainly laugable now that we have a team. The people of QC must be in our shoes now!

The blog from the guy that took the PHX picture from the press box: ----------------------------------------- The view from Arizona Posted by Rich Hammond on 21 October 2011, 9:10 am [Note: I've been politely informed, by a Phoenix Coyotes staff member, that there is a no-photography rule in the Jobing.com press box, a rule that I was not previously aware of. So, out of respect to them and their regulation, I have removed the photo that was posted here, and rewritten the relevant part of the post.] First, there were a couple questions last night about the crowd size inside Jobing.com Arena. The announced attendance was 7,128. The estimate of the actual crowd was somewhere around 4,000, and that’s not even the smallest crowd I’ve seen there. This is not, at all, to dump on the Coyotes. The people who work for the team and the arena are some of the most pleasant people in all of the NHL, but they’re in a bad spot right now. As for the game, here’s how The Arizona Republic covered it, followed by some postgame quotes from the Coyotes’ locker room… lakingsinsider.com/2011/10/21/the-view-from-arizona/

Was this really taken during the #LAKings vs. #Coyotes game? bit.ly/nID5PQ Judging from the fact that I can see our seats from this with us in them, and our STH friends are not in the seats in front of us, this is the preseason game from Andre weeks ago; as they never left their seats last night. But yes, attendance last night sucked. Just not this bad. -TODD

The picture is even up at Puck Daddy blog now: ca.sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Puck-Headlines-Byfuglien-pleads-study-defends-;_ylt=At6Yjk_Ha40nVKxUntm1mK0JfwM6?urn=nhl-wp15424'Crowd' might be 4,000. No way 7,000 people are in attendance unless they are all hidden from the camera.

I think the Nordiques fans scared away the Coyotes fans at jobing.com last night.
Reports have been circulating via the interweb that a small group of Nordiques fans were at jobing.com last night. They were decked out in Nordiques shirts with Coyote player names on the back and the #2012 on the back.
I may have just found myself a Haloween costume for this year.

I actually thought I saw some of them sitting in Center Ice. Oh and I did see a guy wearing a Nordiques Jersey at the Devils game tonight.
