Toronto wins tonight in game 7 vs. Philadelphia in Toronto on a Kawhi Leonard gaming winning shot that bounces around the rim 4 times. They move on to face Milwaukee. The Bucks finished with the best record in the league and will have home court with the new arena. In the West it's Golden State vs. Portland. Portland has made their 1st western conference finals since 2000. Golden State is going to easily win it all of course but Milwaukee vs. Toronto will be a great matchup to see who gets to lose to Golden State. I hope the Raptors win since Kawhi Leonard is a free agent after the year and the there is major risk he signs with his hometown Los Angeles Clippers. The Bucks will get other chances in future years. Would really love it if the Raptors pulled off the biggest up set in sports history and beat Golden State too in the finals.

The Toronto Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks last night in game 6 advancing to their 1st NBA finals in franchise history. They will face probably the greatest team in any sport ever the Golden State Warriors. Toronto does have home court advantage since Golden State fooled around during the regular season. Game 1 is Thursday night in Toronto. Obviously it will be the 1st ever finals game played outside the United States. The Raptors pretty much achieved their goal for the season. They traded star player DeMar DeRozan last summer for a likely 1 year rental of super star/top 5 player Kawhi Leonard. The thought was make 1 NBA finals then rebuild since they got as far as they could with DeRozan. Who knows maybe they get a miracle and Leonard stays instead of going to his home town LA Clippers. Of course even better than Leonard staying would be pulling but far the biggest upset in the history of any sport at any level

The NBA finals are tied at one game apiece with game 3 tonight in Oakland. The Raptors won game 1. They choked in game 2. Stephen Curry had food poisoning, Klay Thompson injured his hamstring and Durant was still out. Tonight is game 3. The Raptors HAD to have game 2 with Durant coming back soon though he is out for game 3. At least the Raptors can say they made the won a finals game in their history. Ratings in the States have been down for the finals but have been setting records in Canada. 20% of Canada watched game 1. www.nba.com/article/2019/05/31/nba-finals-ratings-game-1-canada-record

The Raptors won tonight 123-109 to retake homecourt advantage. The Warriors played it safe and sat out Klay Thompson with his hamstring injury. He wanted to play the Warriors didn't want to risk it. I can't imagine him not being back for game 4. There's also a chance Durant is back too. Golden State is still going to win. Too bad the Raptors blew game 2. That was the shot at the death blow. If they took a 3-0 lead Durant would say screw it and not risk coming back.

Slim chance but its there

Raptors win again 105-92. But Durant might be back next game. Klay Thompson did look good with 28 points. I say Warriors in 7 with Durant coming back for all 3.

Look that last game looked like a hockey game. Flying elbows and teeth. Freddie SR. becomes a hockey player! Hey even went into the quiet room for assessment and came out with seven stiches. Refs swallowing their whistles while all sorts of transgressions occur. Whatever happened to dribbling the ball while going down the court? It appears to be optional. Coaches complaining and getting into the ref's face. Fans chanting "you suck". Yes it was just like a hockey game.😀 Maybe three years ago the Warriors would win down three and the Raptors would fold like an accordion. However this year's version has been given the Leonard attitude adjustment. It appears he doesn't like failure. Three chance to win? I like Toronto's chances.

KD is practicing today with the Warriors. More than ever I like Warriors in 7. I would bet major money on GS assuming KD plays. It's just too big of talent mismatch between the 2 teams with KD playing even if he's not 100%. After the Raptors won game 1 the Warriors still had a 68% chance to win the series according to the numbers because of the talent mismatch. The Warriors may look tired but KD will likely revive them. They've come back from 3-1 before against Oklahoma City a few years ago(a team that had 2 superstars instead of the 1 the Raptors have). The Warriors aren't that old at all. Curry is only 31, KD is 30, Thompson/Green are only 29. All of them have many great years left. Keep in mind too as well as Leonard is playing his knee is badly hurt. Look at him side winding down the interview podium after game 3 in pain.
In basketball the team with the most star talent usually wins. Only examples I can think of where it wasn't true was Dallas winning with only 1 superstar(Dirk) vs. Miami(Lebron,Wade,Bosh) their 1st year together and Detroit beating the Lakers during the last year of Shaq/Kobe together. At that point those 2 were in major war with each other/team chemistry was 100% shot. History is on the Warriors side if KD plays.
Toronto to win MUST get game 5. If the Warriors get game 5 I can't see them losing a 3rd straight home game with KD. So then it goes to 7 and with the Warriors talent/experience plus the pressure that would be on Toronto after losing 2 straight games I can't see them winning.

Doubling down are you Mike? I don't gamble but I am sure Vegas would take your money. I do agree TO has to win game 5. Just like St Loo has to win the next one!

Yep, I just refuse to think the Warriors will ever die. Michael Jordan's dynasty Bulls were my childhood team and the Warriors just about destroyed all that(unless the Raptors pull this off). Golden State wins 4 of 5 with 3 superstars and Draymond that beats the Bulls 6 of 8 with 2 superstars plus Rodman. I hope you are right and the Raptors win. I'd LOVE to eat a big plate of crow. Hope St. Louis wins too. Last thing we need is yet another Boston championship team.
