Is the capacity for MTS Center still staying at 15,003. I read in the FP a while ago they were adding seats in the Suites and making some bigger .. or something like that. I didnt understand because i heard all along no seating was being changed. Unless they were just talking abou the alotted seats for regular ticket holders. I haven't seen any seats being added to suites, but I do know they cut a few in half at one of the end zones. Can't remember if it's north or south. They're cutting them at the stairs, so no seats appear to be affected. I haven't seen any seats being removed either. I know where the cameras are going and I believe they are adding a pedestal mount or tripod of some sort, so the cameras aren't in direct view of any seats. It's kinda hard to explain without pics.

They are adding a few 'columns' of seats Section 102: when I went for the P3 ticket selection appointment, another group of people was with a TNSE agent and he was describing them extending the platform where the zamboni comes in/out (and where Wheeler does all his games.)
But its only about 2 seats/row, so can't see 10-15 seats really making a difference.

Speaking of seats....I was just wondering: do you know if they are replacing and/or re-upholstering the existing seats? I would think the greeny-teal colour wouldn't work well.

That should be pretty much the bottom of the priority list. First of all, nobody is going to see the seats for the foreseeable future anyway because people will be sitting in them.

Was at a concert recently and sat in the new dark blue upholstered seats.

Edit: added the linked picture directly. To add pictures to this forum paste the URL between [/img]. Thx.
Can't imagine how placing the logo right in the middle of the ice so the centre red line cuts right through the middle of the jet on the logo and cuts most of it out is a good thing. As it is, the jet on the logo is still and motionless, and not fast, not threatening, not like I want our Jets to be, and now they are cutting the jet apart and obliterating it on the ice. Hope they don't place it in the middle of the ice in the MTS Centre. They may have to go back to the old way and place two logos one on each side of the red line.

Was at a concert recently and sat in the new dark blue upholstered seats. Are you sure those weren't green? I would be shocked if nobody mentioned seats being re-upholstered to match new colours ... many arenas have seats that aren't the home teams colours. Toronto is yellow, brown and burgandy for the Leafs. The Saddledome has green seats for the "red" flames. Rogers Arena has maroon seats for the "blue" canucks.

Was at a concert recently and sat in the new dark blue upholstered seats. This is not true. They are still green. when selecting my seats on august 8th, I asked my rep if they were going to be changing the seat colors. He said absolutely not this season, *maybe* next season.

The name has to the Winnipeg Jets WHAAAAAAAAAA! I hate the logo. It is still and motionless, and not fast, not threatening, not like I want our Jets to be. WHAAAAAAAAAA! I can't beleive they would put the red line right through the logo at center ice. MY GOD! when does it stop WHAAAAA! It's not 1996 anymore. Have a look a EVERY single NHL arena and you will find that the redline goes trough every logo. Quit the B!tching and be thankful True North has brought the NHL back and on top of that, they called them the Jets

Gotta agree... unlike in Phoenix or Atlanta, these seats will actually have PEOPLE IN THEM during the games, so who even cares what colour they are? The cost of re-doing all the seats would certainly be a lot higher than putting in plexi glass that doesn't need guard rails, and that would certainly make a lot of people much happier than blue vs green seats.

Absolutely right, my friend.
