Can’t wait for the first game of the next round, when Tkachuk gets a first period beat down. here's hoping!

Why is Maurice so stubborn to move Wheeler to center. He's bottled up and Copp can't play those minutes. If anything shake it up in game its worked before.

Hellebuyck did not have a good game, but neither did the rest of the team. It kinda looked like a replay of the Saturday game, but worse. This lot looks like they went into the game expecting to lose, and they did. I just do not see the team coming back from this beating. We better hope for a good draft position.

Game was $ H I T, this is what you get when you draft small with skill, you get pushed around when it comes to playoffs. Like your wife always says Size Matters!

Can anyone tell me what the fascination is with Roslovic? He is absolutely horrible out there and even worse (if that's possible) being on Lowery's line. Put Harkins higher up the lineup and move one of the 4th line wingers up with Lowery, then let Roslovic sit and move him in the off season.

Somehow, in public statements, Maurice has defended Roslovic, but no smart coach is going to bad-mouth a player who was a high draft pick and is desperately needed right now to produce or the season is over. Roslovic has had a couple of good games, but no trend of greatness. And Perrault is past his best-before date.

Just so frustrating to see a team whose best play is a cross-check to the back move on. Perrault gets hit against boards without the puck with Bennett's leg driving between Perrault's, no penalty. It took Mangiopane about six cross-checks to the back on Eakin to draw a penalty in game 2. Tkachuk cross-checks everyone in sight all the time and has yet to draw even one minor for it plus the hit on Scheifele. Maybe I am a whiner, I don't know but this is a Calgary Team trained to play the game a certain way under Geoff Ward Luddite style.

Despite everything Wheeler has done (or tried to do), we sure to look to be short of beef and attitude. For next season, we need a forward 210 lb+ who has a bad attitude and a Logan Stanley-sized d-man with a fondness of cracking ankles with a stick.

He has a load of talent and shows dazzling flashes of what he could be but he seems to lack in heart and drive to win. NHL scrap-heap is filled many times over with guys of that ilk. I agree, time to move on from him, get what you can from the highest bidder and let someone else take him on as a reclamation project. Yeah, more Harkins, let's get a few more guys like that.

I think our 3 best D-men this series also happen to be the biggest or most physically aggressive, Beaulieu, Kulikov, Poolman. If it were up to me I'd find a way to get Sbisa in there next game.
I'd also have replace Shaw and Perreault with Gustafsson and Letestu...assuming Scheif and Laine are still nursing whatever they're nursing. Shore gets a pass and stays in...I hardly ever notice him, what exactly does that guy do? Kind of slim pickin's in the depth department.

Apparently there is a rumour that both Sheifele and Laine will be in the lineup, albeit at reduced ability.

Friedman tonight: "Chiarot has shaken off some poor mentoring and coaching early in his career - he had a magnificent night, he was +4..."
I wonder which mentors and coaches he's talking about?

The Flames are not that good a team but right now, all it takes is one more good effort and the Jets go home.
