Thank God he was able to play one more time with his former teammates at the Heritage Classic!

My wife and I drove downtown this afternoon to True North square. First of all, what an amazing place. We went to see the Dale Hawerchuk tribute, and that was a heartbreaking and emotional time for both of us. Strongly recommend going down there if you can. You won't be disappointed with the venue or the video tribute. This organization is such a class act. A class act would go after our history from the NHL and set the record right, as of today Dale has no history or records with our Winnipeg Jets.

I would imagine they need the permission of both the NHL and the Yotes

At minimum, there will always be Winnipeg NHL records -- e.g., player X had the most points of any player for a Winnipeg-based NHL team.

I read the Jets will have a Hawerchuk sweater with a modified logo on the front. If for sale, I'll buy one!
