Uninspiring. Toronto metro area just surpassed 7,000,000 people. One would think a billionaire would be making a push for an 80,000 seat NFL compatable stadium to be built in the future. I don’t believe that the NFL is interested in Toronto, Toronto tried in the past with the NFL, Buffalo played games in Toronto many times, attendance was ok initially, then it tapered off to the point where the games stopped happening in Toronto. The NFL is definitely interested in Toronto. The NFL has expressed some interest in expanding to Europe (London and Berlin IIRC). There are far more football fans in Toronto, and it would certainly be an inst The big problem with the Buffalo games was: 1. It's not Toronto's team 2. The Bills were mediocre at best. 3. The ticket prices for their games were far higher than what one would pay at Buffalo. With the exception of Oklahoma City in the NBA, nearly every city that hosts a team that is not theirs, the attendance is horrible. Even when teams are playing in their city, it could be really bad if the owner announces a move before the season is done. This happened in Winnipeg (95-96), Seattle NBA (2008-09), Houston NFL (1996), Oakland MLB 2023, Montreal MLB (2004), and others. When teams play in different cities it is usually a disaster (Memphis NFL 1997, Carolina NHL 1997-99, etc.

The one thing that does concern me, if Toronto gets an NFL Team, what happens to the CFL Toronto Argonauts? Cheers, 2b9😃👍
