Patience. The Jets need to build via draft and development. Having said that, I'd like to have seen/see the Jets: 1) Bring someone in to challenge Pavelec for #1 position. 2) Make a few trades if the return is sufficient (i.e., move Kane and maybe Buff). 3) Don't be blindly loyal to 3rd and 4th liners - make forward line depth a strength not a weakness (i.e., Thornburn signing is a head-scratcher in terms of $ and term). IMO the biggest issue last year with the jets not making the playoffs was goaltending. Lets see what this year brings, I think Pavs is gonna have an extremely short leash this year.

I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. Pavelec has been anointed as the saviour goalie who will carry the team, and Chevy has shown himself to be very leery to make major changes in the lineup so far.
