I wonder if he will be involved in some on ice activities. He said he and the family will be there but it also sounds like hes a season ticket holder. So is he there to watch the game from the stands, or be apart of the opening experience on ice. I would have to think the jets have some historic type opening cerimonies planned for the opening night.

Come on, guys. Yes, he was a bit of a douche back in the day, but a lot of young men are. One only needs to look at any Internet forum to realize this. He has long since changed his ways and I believe he is sincere in the nice things he has said recently about Winnipeg. Let's cut him a little bit of slack.

To show that I can be adult about at least some issues, I will say my feelings on him have changed. It's still fun to make some jokes about him, because he was "the screaming weasel of Winnipeg" for a few years, but I have to agree wtih Dave. He seems to have changed and to sincerely have good things to say about Winnipeg. All the stuff his wife did to help the wives/girlfriends adjust to Winnipeg was pretty cool too.

I think that most of the commentary is of the brotherly ball-breaking variety that all guys do with buddies. Kind of like how I always point out how I'm so good-looking compared to my buddies. No malice. m.

For better or worst he was a a part of the Jets so why not have him there, I just wish Teemu would be there.

Apparently he was stripped of Captaincy during last Jet season, but became Captain again after move to PHX.
I was in Alberta that last year.
So I missed the hassle.
To me, Keith was a terrific player for the Jets.

Time heals all wounds and I think he's a better person than he was when he played here.
