To me this is interesting. Obviously speculation, but I agree with the writer --> TNSE almost wouldn't be doing their job if they weren't at least checking out what the interest level is in Bogo. And I also agree there is upside and downside. Bogo could turn into a defensive stud, in which case we would have lost on pretty well any deal. But he could still be a bust, in which case trading him before the fact that he is a "bust" is proven means we would have won. To me, if someone is willing to offer up a trade for him that values him as if he were already a proven stud, I'd say take it. But if it's not a great deal, play it safe and just see how his development plays out.

I like Bogosian for Parise, but I'm not sure New Jersey does. Winnipeg would need to add to Bogosian in order to land Parise, and I would only do so contingent on Parise signing here long-term.
That said Zajac in the mind of Devils fans is likely the second best defensive forward they've ever had other then Holik, picking up him along with a 2nd/3rd for Bogosian would be a winning trade for us. Doesn't fix our RW issue, though.
Some problems with the article. You misspelled "Bogosian", plus he doesn't have arbitration rights.

Just get rid of Bogo. I think he will not pan out. Maybe sometime with the Capuccinos would help him. A nice two way contract for the slug. I will gladly boo him night in and night out at the MTS Centre.
on the other hand I could be completely wrong and Bogo will be a future all star hoisting the Stanley Cup at centre ice at MTS Center one day. Time will tell.

Yes I messed this one up and am making the appropriate edits. Absoloutly right no arbitration rights this year! Doh! Thanks for keeping me honest guys!

There's a lot of good Jets blogs coming out, but Hard Six is quickly becoming my favorite. BCMike's got a nice writing style, and he's really on top of his stuff. He's also known to call in a panel of experts to discuss some of the stickier topics. Great blog!

The worst that can happen to Nashville is getting four first rounders in compensation if Weber leaves. As for Weber if offer sheets roll in he gets to write his own ticket. Of course he could either be moved before the trade deadline or sign a contract extension while Suter is moved before the deadline. There are lots of factors in play but pending UFA's are more likely to be moved before Weber goes. However, this doesn't exactly show Weber that the Preds are committed to winning.

i'm actually hearing the opposite -- negotiations are going well w/ Bogosian. Both sides want BOGO to play in WPG. I think that would be a huge loss for us. I'm actually surprised to hear that Chevy might be shopping him around.
Who on Twitter was saying this? None of the people I follow have mentioned it.

Random rumours is what I what call it with very little substance at this point. Unless Dreger or Mackenzie report it there is little merit in it. I am just not a fan of Bogo and would like to see him moved before he has no value at all. I see his downside as bigger than his upside. Just my opinion. That being said I am sure Chevy and Zinger have watched hours of this guy on video and will make the correct decision. I truly believe he needs some time with the Ice Caps and we have the defensive depth to do it. He would then need a two-way contract. If he played poorly with few fans and little media coverage in Atlanta. I can only imagine the magnifying glass he will be under here. It could either elevate his play or destroy him. All I keep hearing over and over is that he has all the talent that you could ever hope for but no hockey sense. It is pretty hard to teach hockey sense. I am already considering starting a trade Bogo fan club and he hasn't even put a jersey on yet.

I don't really know them, but when it comes from two separate people, it peaks my interest. Like I say in my Blog though, the internet isn't the most reliable place for info.
