True North is promoting this regular season NCAA game at MTS Centrer on Jan.7
Not sure if it will draw well with the Jets playing on TV that night.
I was going to buy tickets and almost clicked the purchase button when I figured I better check the Jets schedule.
They lost my purchase. If it was a non-Jets night I would have went.

Clarkson University is where Randy Jones went to school for 2 years, actually. DVR the Jets game--then you can skip the commercials! Just sayin'. I'll be at Fenway Park for Frozen Fenway that same day--college doubleheader. Must be a bunch of games going on... probably not all outside, though. Heh.

Today, there is a presale for Jets season ticket holders. Anyone willing to PM me the password? I would really like to try to snag two tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
EDIT: Nevermind. I was able to guess the password.

You could always DVR the Jets game and go to the Sioux game. You can have updates sent to your smart phone.
Also, MTS will probably provide Jets score updates and have the game on TVs in the arena.

I would have love to have gone-NCAA is a great calibre of hockey, but will be in Buffalo that night.

I went to a sioux game last year at the Ralph and though the atmosphere is amazing, I found the quality of hockey quite low. Despite the large ice surface and tons of room, not much creativity in the way of offense. Now if this was a Dub game with the Wheat Kings, I'd probably go.

Wow, it's not often you hear someone say the Sioux play low quality hockey. The Sioux are known for fast, physical, high octane hockey and are considered a National Powerhouse. Who did they play when you were there? Also, not sure what you mean by large ice surface as the Sioux play on an NHL size rink.
