Good evening everyone,
For reasons out of my hands, I wasn't able to attend tonights game. However I was able to ask a few people how it looked.
Despite a 6-2 washing by the Admirals, Klingberg was apparently the best player on the ice. Backchecking and causing turnovers, creating things on the ice and tucking in his 2nd short handed goal of the season. Once he fully blooms into his capability I belive you guys are going to enjoy watching this kid.
Pasquale I was told had a hard time with some rebound control tonight. I found the last game he played, he again was like rubber. Positionally sound, but rebound control needs to be practiced.
Cormier, played on the 4th line. Never generated much, and got lit up on the score board in his limited ice-time. Out of 9 games so far this season, I recall him being positivley noticeable 1. Hopefully this turns around.
Thats all the information I attained tonight folks. I'll be at the game personally tomrrow evening as the take on the Admirals again. I'll try to have a better judgement on how things look.
Cheers!

I guess we better send some of their defensemen back to St. John's.

From talking with some people from St. John's, Postma's dreadful defensive play continues. Pretty much the only thing going for him at the moment is that he has a really good shot which he can use on the power play. Even there his ability to quarterback the PP is limited because of poor decision making. I'm thinking that we should be concerned about his development at this point.
I think the Jets management is going to play it safe with Klingberg and wait another 20 games or so before they give him a shot at the NHL.
