Don't really care that there's no NBA to tell you the truth, I enjoy basketball but I really don't miss it.

Nobody cares about the 1st 2 or 3 months of the season with the NFL going on. It will go the same as the 1998-1999 lockout. It will be settled in January with the season starting the 1st week of February. It will be a 50 game season instead of the normal 82 games like last time. The owners will break the players union in the end.

they need to get a deal done by December 25. Ya would be funny to see the former boss of Gary miss a whole season

Missing the NBA, but it's giving me more reason to watch hockey.

I don't care about basketball at all. No Basketball means more hockey.

I don't care about basketball at all. No Basketball means more hockey. Couldn't agree more. The NBA gave me the greatest gift they could this year... as a salute to the return of the Jets they graciously took a year off to free up more highlights time on sportscenter each morning!

^ I agree with both of you...of the Big 4 sporting leagues, the NBA is the only one I don't care for... So no NBA means more of a cofus on the NFL and, happily, the NHL! (It'd be better if my Ducks could capitalize on this absence of the Lakers and Clippers and win some games...but I guess you can't have everything...)

the thing that gets me is that there is a lock out and both parties aren't talking, so how are you going to get a deal done.

Kinda gutted, keeps people talking and I'm intrigued as to what the heat would have done, but as long as it's back by next year when some more Brits are in the draft I'll be happy! But as others have said, more time for hockey and football. Don't particularly follow baseball that much..

I can only imagine how awful the Stars' attendance would be if the defending champion Mavericks weren't locked out this year..
