Called up for the weekends games against the Marlies. I will try and take notice as to how his play is. I haven't read how he performed for the Jets in training camp.

Another Angelo Esposito type. Aliu was a late second round pick, not someone who was at some point thought to be going first overall. Power forward who still has question marks regarding his personality. The Jets almost certainly aren't gonna hang onto someone who has both off and on-ice issues. They're giving him a chance, but I figure there's a pretty short leash on Aliu.

Cool, I want to see this guy succeed. He's gotten into a bar fight and a practice scrum in junior. He was being pressured into hazing by Steve Downie and he refused.
I don't think he could be a huge contributing player, but he's big and tough.
