I'm here, thanks for caring. I've been checking in on all the pre-game board hooplah on and off, but haven't had any comments inspire me respond with anything I haven't posted many times before.
Comments such as, "F*CK Phoenix and they're (sic) douchebag fans" and "CoyJoke fans and Doan ain't got nothing, except for their yeast infections" don't exactly inspire one to join in on some friendly debate.
I figured I would just check in after the game to update my Coyotes Will Have A Better Season Than The Jets topic. In the meantime, I've just been basking in my ability over the past two days to say, "The Yotes are in first place in the Pacfic, third in the West" for as long as I'm able. Not bad for more than 1/4 through the season for a team picked to have a disastrous season with the departure of that Russian scallywag (who has recently been benched).
I look forward to tonight's game; have to DVR as I won't make it home until some time in the third period, though I look more forward to going to see Bryz play the Yotes Saturday (if they let him). I'll be wearing my signed "To Todd, Best Wishes" 30 jersey regardless, as he was a favorite of mine the past three seasons and I can honor his return and root for him to get slaughtered at the same time.
Should be fun tonight. I figure the boards will be full of gloating if Yotes lose, and statements similar to "they're moving to Quebec anyway" if Yotes win. I'll save my gloating for when I post about the season, because win or lose tonight, it's going quite well for them so far.

Comments such as, "F*CK Phoenix and they're (sic) douchebag fans" and "CoyJoke fans and Doan ain't got nothing, except for their yeast infections" don't exactly inspire one to join in on some friendly debate. Not that I support the sentiment, but the 'sic' may not be warranted in that instance. The quotee may have intended to communicate the following: "F*ck Phoenix. And they are douchebag fans" It's a writing style that, while grammatically correct, was certainly nebulous. I like helping people. m.

Hah! But doubtful. The mind that posts such a comment is not the mind of someone who can differentiate between their/there/they're. Or to/too/two for that matter. Congrats on the Jets' too points last night. Their moving on up. -TODD

Doh I was wondering where you were. I looked on Coyotes Corner to see if you were still alive.
Side note the couple of fans that make up that board think it was "pathetic" that we booed and apparently that says a lot about us as a city. Haha wow.

I don't frequent Coyotes Corner. I registered last season just to post a couple things as I was getting tired of their negativity toward supporting the Yotes when it was time to focus on the fun of having hockey and upcoming playoffs. I check there every week or so just to see if there is anything interesting, but it's mostly just a handful of people with the same comments.
I have no problem with booing in sports. I enjoyed the Peg booing every time the Yotes touched the puck. My wife came in to find out what the heck was going on that she kept hearing booing, then had a good laugh when she saw why. Booing a player or a team or a ref call is part of the fan participation expected in sports.
Anyone crying about it being classless is just stretching to criticize. I'll cheer Bryz as I did the last three seasons, and I'll boo him minutes later. If I confuse those around me; all the more fun.

It was pretty fun to Boooo at that last game. Had some good laughs! That's what it should be all about: a good time! (even if the Chant is off)

You know Doh annoyed the living bejesus out of me when he first showed up but he's growing on me. He's a lot smarter than most coyote fans.

^ I think the Doh might actually be a real hockey fan in Phoenix.

Didnt PHX fans boo the Jets when we played there? I mean, sure, it was difficult to hear the reaction of the 12 Yotes fans over the 10,000 Jets fans who were in Glendale that night, but I am sure that was the case.
