Over the course of a series...
Best goaltending duels?
The best I've ever seen has to be the 2003 SC Finals:
Martin Brodeur vs. J.S. Giguere...
And the best part of that one was no one went away unrewarded:
Brodeur won the Cup, Giguere won the Conn Smythe...
And hockey fans everywhere won with one of the best goaltending faceoffs--and really one of the best series--I'd say in AT LEAST the last 20 years...
Anyone agree?
And any other votes you all might have (probably plenty before my time, bearing in mind I'm a child of 90s hockey and college-aged right now...)
