I am pretty sure TN will be selling these tickets at the higher walk up price. If you think about it, they buy the tickets off the STH and add it to the pool of walk up tickets available and at the same price. If they didn't, they would not sell any walk up tickets until the tickets on the exchange site had been exhausted. After all, they are in the business to make money and they are entitled by law to charge more than us "common folk".
But...I have no confirmation that they will in fact do this but I for sure would if I was in their shoes.

If this is the same thing they had for the Moose, STH will be able to charge up to walk up price and then pay a convenience fee.
The buyer then pays the walk up price + Ticketmaster fee + facility fee.

It cost me about $275 a seat, plus a $50 club fee for front row seats. Are you talking about here, in Winnipeg?NVM, I misread the post, you were taliking about getting tickets for $275 plus club fee in Mtl and Van, right? yup... really good seats, but still a lot of money.

Hi all - spoke to my contact @ TNSE.
STH will be allowed to sell their tickets on the TNSE re-sale site at the walk-up rate.
It will be an automatic process through your Jets account - so the physical ticket doesn't actually exchange hands. You will choose what game you want to sell (ie. in P4) and that price is automatically set. A person can buy that ticket (as they normally would) and they are issued a new ticket for your seats.
TNSE and Ticketmaster take their cut, but supposedly its not that much.
There is no confirmation that the ST themselves will have the walk-up rate printed on the ticket.

When I asked my rep about this during the seat selection process I asked how money would change hands. He said that a credit would be allocated to my account that can be used for future purchases. I asked if I could just get the cash and he said you can use the credit for future purchases.
I think you should be able to get the cash for what you sell somehow. Have anyone else heard anything about this?

Sorry man, but anyone that says ticketmaster is taking a cut "but it's not that much" is making crap up!

I think the only way you'd get your Cash back is if the account is defaulted. In which case you'd lose your deposit (not to mention your awesome JETS seats).. but you'd probably get your dough back.

Having gone to numerous games in Montreal I had to buy tickets off scalpers, or through ebay. Either way it is expensive. I think that this is a really good option. YEs, many of you are probably right that ST holders will have friends who would snatch at the opportunity, but it is a great way to get some money back in those situations where something comes up and your friends don't have time to make arrangements. Then for people like me we can pay a little extra, but at least not the absurd amounts that we'd pay scalpers...

No doubt, I've never purchased from the secondary market before but, I can sure see it getting pricy.
