Do you have any suggestions for a name for the new Jets store, located in the MTS Center.
Keep in mind the Moose store was called, I believe; "Off the Rack"
Personally, I think they should call it; "The Hanger". It gives that double meaning, airplane hanger/clothes hanger.
Any good ideas out there?

Might have a problem with the store called "Hangers", but that place sells c rap, so it might be different.

Does anyone know if there are plans to open up some other "Jets Stores". I remember there being a "Jets store" in Polo Park back in the day where EB games is now. Perhaps the Iceplex will have one as well?

I understand there will be satellite stores, possibly in Polo Park and St. Vital. No idea on the timeframe though.

They need to spread 'em out to all the malls. Even in a pretty much dead mall like Garden City. Put in a small little kiosk or take up half of what a regular store would take, fill it with a few popular items available and take orders. If someone comes in and wants something that another store may have in stock, ship 'em in for the next day or so. Kinda like what the libraries do. If downtown, Polo Park and St. V are the only places that have Jetsgear stores, I'll probably be getting stuff at more convenient places. Quicker and easier for me to hit GC or KP.

I really like the name The Hanger too, or maybe The Runway...

Perhaps the Iceplex will have one as well? There most definitely will be a Jets store at the Iceplex since they were selling Moose gear there last year.

I thought about this the other day. Wonder if the Bombers and Jets could get together for a team store in the mall's.I would guess after a while, the Jets stuff will be sold more during the winter season, and the BB's over the summer. It could cut employee costs in half for each team. And give ppl a chance to buy stuff from them who dont go to the areas the stores are now.

That truly sounds like a good idea, I wonder if any other cities do it? Because you're right, realistically after a certain period of time, both teams will have on and off seasons of merchandise sales, so why not make costs more efficient while opening more stores?

The Landing Strip!
Come to "THE LANDING STRIP" to get your Jets Gear....
Paint a landing strip down the sidewalk of the MTS center to the door of the store! One on Portage Ave and one on Hardgrave, think that may look real cool
