Kenaston will extend through Waverly West to the perimeter where the plan is to put in, yes you guessed it, LIGHTS! Just what the perimeter doesn't need. I also am not confident in how smooth traffic will move on that part of Kenaston if it's winding through Waverly West.
As it is, they slowed Waverly down and made it twist and turn, dropped the speed limit etc, to slow traffic down through that area. It's also a favourite place for the WPS to make a few bucks.
Once Kenaston is extended to the perimeter, Waverly will be blocked off and will not extend there anymore.

Why do I have a feeling that I might not even live in Winnipeg by the time this Mall is built? And why exactly would you be moving out of the city?

Bishop needs on off ramps. I say do an on off ramp onto sterling, cuz once all this is up and running, the traffic light on that intersection will be the worst idea ever. For the life of me, I cannot understand why they are building more at-grade traffic lights at intersections on Kensaton, when it is going to be the main highway from the US Border to Centreport (it will merge with Hwy 75 somewhere south of the city). Ever think of building one of these at the IKEA interchange:

This would be a perfect time to plug my blog! purplehelmetrod.blogspot.com/2012/01/anthony-henday-drive-vs-perimeter.htmlYou have not lived until you drive around Edmonton on the new Anthony Henday.

The Waverly expansion will take much longer then expected because they have to listen to all the suggestion from the tree huggers/green movement. They want extra room for there bicycles, because bicycles are a greener alternative then cars. (Tried to take my bicycle today but it wouldn't start, chain froze) We all know and love these people, (at least I do ) they are the ones that don't pay the high gas taxes, licenses, insurance/auto pack and all the things most of us pay to support and pay for projects like this. Hey Danny V. get a pair and the next time one of the tree huggers stand up and object to these plans tell them to shut the hell up, and ride there bicycle in the park.

Everyone that says we should be driving cars less do realize that without the gasoline tax bike trails and more importantly streets for busses would be screwed right?

Katz was just on CJOB saying he believes there should not be any lights on Bishop Grandin at all. Well then do something about it mr Mayor.
What this city needs is some intelligent people to change the culture. Whenever there is a potential traffic issue, the knee-jerk reaction is "how do we slow traffic down?" In many cases, its not about slowing traffic down, its about moving it more efficiently. Lights and stops are not good. They always talk about Light Rail Transit as something needed for us to catch up to other cities yet they keep spending tens of millions (or hundreds of millions) on these huge projects that are out of the dark ages when it comes to traffic flow.

The video for the Seasons of Tuxedo appears to have been taken down. Is that a bad sign?

But that would reduce potential revenue from red-light camera's! Errr... uhm it would reduce safety. Yeah that's it.
