According to the Hockey News article (http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/41528-.html) Kostitsyn isn't happy with coach Jacques Martin and has voiced it through media.
I'm not a big fan of this guy, but he's a 20 goal winger still in his 20's. I'm sure we could find a spot on the 1st or 2nd line for him.

Not a huge fan either, but we could use the scoring....I say a two-year contract linked to incentives for production, and lets see what he can do.

Not sure I'd want him on my team, he seems to be unhappy more often then not. I think the team has a bigger need for a scoring centre as opposed to a winger.

Don't we have too many centers? Those 'outlooks' are often written by people who paid little or no attention to the Thrashers. The roster shows a lot of people listed at center who didn't actually play many games there. Kane for instance spent most of the time on wing. He and Burmistrov both need to gain about 20lbs. Antropov played Centre and Rt Wing, but he's so slow they clock him with a sundial. He's got soft hands and I think he'd get 20+ goals if he'd go park his big butt in front of the net, but he only does that once in a while on the PP.

Spacek would fit really nice here.

Goals or not, I am not convinced he would be the right kind of guy here in Winnipeg. I have nothing to base that on other then my gut feeling though.

Once you have one unhappy/miserable player on a team, it can start to drag other players with him. It's a poisonous thing in my mind and I don't feel he is worth the extra 20 goals.
There has got to be a better solution than Kostiysyn

Search out Canadian talent, the proof is in the pudding, just ask Boston.

Search out Canadian talent, the proof is in the pudding, just ask Boston. Exactly! Both their captain and their MVP winning goalie are Canadian.... oh wait.
