Was there today and they have already began replacing the railings in front of the handicap platform. No vertical uprights anymore, with apparently only a very thin top railing to be added. Great news for those in the handicap section and ticket holders in the rows immediately behind. Edited to say this applies to all handicap sections. That's the best news I've heard all day!

I think a second "ring of light effect board" for lack of a better term would look cool on the beige wall that look so bare below the boxes! Best idea. I wanted to say it but i couldn't remember what to call it. Good work Ribbon Board

I could immediately see the difference when they replaced the wire mesh with plexi in my section. Made a big difference. What about cup holders in the upper level? Do we have room for those....

Im in 317 and im almost 100% sure my entire section had cup holders all year, at least the 5 rows in front and the one behind me did.

Yeah I went to a game in the upper level behind the net and there were cup holders.

My half seasons are in 313, definately have cup holders there. When I bought tickets and sat in 328, no cup holders. Ironically we played the Leafs, so I thought it was on purpose....... (No cup holders.....Leafs........)

cup holders in 306 as well.
If there not going to replace the scoreboard I hope they at the very least change the screens to HD screens. The screens did not seem to bad throughout the season but you could really tell at the draft how bad they were. You couldn't read the players names on the them.

It's great news. Now they are going to have to make decisions as to how people sit in the handicap section. I had 0 problems with people in wheelchairs this year but plenty with people who sat in the section who are not handicap at all, leaning forward on their chairs blocking the entire goal. I hope this will make them sit further back. I hope this will be a win win for everyone but especially for guys like Dave. The black bar has been annoying for me, I can only imagine what it is like for Dave.

The black bar has been annoying for me, I can only imagine what it is like for Dave. With these changes as described, people should be fine with sitting behind the line so that everyone can see. And yes, strangely enough, the only people that seem to have a problem with this in my section are the people that are not in wheelchairs. Anyway, that railing was really the only negative about my seats. Once that obstruction is gone, my seats are pretty much perfect, to me.

the changes will be outside. Starting this summer, Centre Venture is adding lighting, the "funnelators" and possibly more glass on the Donald side of the bldg. There were renderings at the SHED press conference recently. Money for this coming from additional property tax generated by Chipman's Alt Hotel complex. Im interested in hearing more about this....
