Tuborg Beer? Is that like O.V.? It is still very much available. Tuborg is from Germany. It's pretty darn good beer , if you ask me. I was surprised to see an ad for it from 40 years ago! Actually Tuborg is a Danish beer.

An original press photo Looking at all our photos from 1972 to the end of the WHA Jets with Bobby Hull, any idea when he went from the comb over to the flowing locks? I find the two eras hard to merge in my mind! Hull started the 1974-75 season wearing the hairpiece to give him a more youthful look playing alongside Hedberg and Nilsson

I tried to post the photo on here but Photobucket was giving me trouble posting it. It is the one with Hull in the foreground and Joe Daley in goal with no face mask or helmet!!! I read that he was one of the last, if not THE last goalie to don a mask playing in net! I had no idea that any goalies were still playing with nothing to protect their faces and heads as late as 1973!! Joe Daley's last season without a mask was 1972-73. It was quite amazing that he played that long without one especially since many players by that time had hard and wildly high shots. What is even more astonishing however, is the fact that Indianapolis Racers goalie Andy Brown played without a mask throughout his career ending in the 1976-77 season.
