Who cares about legal entities...the history of the Jets belongs to Winnipeg not some abstraction...how TNSE decides to treat that is another matter... I can tell you I was in PHX at Jobing.com Arena for Dale Hawerchuk's # retirement and hardly anyone knew who he was. The arena was half empty. And he was given polite applause. He deserves to be recognized in Winnipeg. I completely agree with this, my memories of Hull, Hawerchuck, Selanne etc were of them when they were in Winnipeg where records were made, not in Phoneix where they never played

Huh? It's not the same name? I propose that the next time anyone says that the Jets are in Phoenix be given a warning and then banned if they do that again. Consider that trolling and forum abuse. What does Toronto and Phoenix have in common, one hopes one day they will have a team and the others hope one day they will have fans.

Love Kane's attitude! He will do #9 proud. As far as untouchable #'s for me it would be #10 and #25. Ducky for all the reasons posted, Steen for being a Jet and only a Jet his entire NHL career (and a good one at that)...plus he lives here year round!
