First off, congratulations to the Minnesota Vikings for clinching a playoff spot (10-6), and to Adrian Peterson, who finishes the year with 2,097 yards rushing.
Now I am not even begin to guess where the Vikings may play next week, as the playoff picture is convoluted, to say the least. I am assuming either Seattle or San Francisco. Hopefully someone on the forum, with more knowledge of the NFL tie-breaking procedure can explain it to me...

I believe they play Green Bay again, Seattle is the #5 seed so they wouldn't play them for sure.

So a rematch of this weeks game, in Green Bay. Interesting.
I hope the Cowboys win tonight. Never was a Redskin fan.

Skol Vikings. AP deserves MVP. Put the team on his back and got them to the playoffs

Im a Seahawks fan so I'm really happy with their season. Here is what I don't get. If the Cowboys win they are at 9-7, Seahawks finished at 11-5, Why would the Cowboys get home field advantage? ???Keep in mind, the Seahawks beat the Cowboys in the regular season.

Cowboys or Redskins would be division champs and automatically get the higher seed

Thank you, I neglected to look at division standings...Oh well, we did beat CHI on the road and Wilson is getting better every game, but I'm still worried about a road game .

Chances of Seahawks having a home playoff game are pretty slim. The only way would be if both the Vikings and Seahawks win their next 2 games. Not impossible though.

The thing that intrigues me is that the the Packers would have known that if they won they would play Chicago. Would they prefer to play the Vikings over the Bears and hence tank the game like the Bengals did with the Jets a few years back only to regret it???
If that is the case i really hope the vikes knock off the packers!

Didn't that happen in the 1987 season, when Minnesota and Washington met in the NFC final?

Only one wildcard back then, so technically no, but it was the 2 lowest seeded teams meeting for the NFC Championship.
