Back in the day I was a huge Jays fan and loved to listen to the Jays in the summer with a bonfire. Now that the Jays are a bonafide contender I have plans to jump right on the bandwagon again and listen to Jays games. However there are limited options. Its pretty much just 1570 out of Winkler that broadcasts the games and I can barely pick up the broadcast out where I live in St.Francois.
Back in the day CJOB used to broadcast some games...what about TSN radio? with Rodgers owning the Jays i'm not so sure on a TSN branded station broadcasting the Jays... What about Sirius? Any thoughts...ideas?

im a huge jays fan. i listened to them on the radio all the time when i was a kid before bed, in fact i heard the carter homerun on the radio as a 6 year old and its one of my earliast memories. now i mostly watch on tv but when not around a tv ill listen to 1570 if i can pick it up. unfortunately thats the only free option.
mlb does a great job of blocking radio and streaming games for free on the internet. u can pay for the radio feeds on mlb.com tho. and satellite radio will also have the radio feeds

There is a mlb app that has radio feeds. It's like 10-20 bucks I think.

What about Sirus? do you have to get the "best of XM" package to listen to MLB on Sirius? No plans with CJOB or 1290? Its kinda weird...I get HD Sportsnet that carries every Jays Game in HD and I have a Bose Surround sound system connected to my nice shinny Flat screeen....and I'm craving for radio?...not sure what it is but listining to a baseball game on the radio with a fire during the summer is just wicked...

That's a good question. XM has about 6 channels of MLB and NHL play by play but doesn't have NFL. As far as I know, Sirius has NFL but not sure about MLB or NHL. According to this toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/tor/schedule/radio_network.jspWinkler only station in Manitoba

Rogers owns the Jays so not likely TSN will ever get the radio rights. I get the MLB At-Bat app on my iTouch, like the previous poster mentioned, you get all the radio feeds through that (from both team's broadcasts for every game too, so that's kind of cool).
