So I was at last nights awsome Blink 182 concert on the floor. Anyways almost the entire night there were go jets go chants, at one point Marc asked the crowd if we had a message for edmonton to which everyone in the MTS Centre either shouted f*ck the oilers or edmonton. After the show ended with all the people outside tryin to get home you could here go jets go chants all over the street. That was a freaking blink 182 concert I still cant imagine how insane the home opener will be. On an unrelated note I am currently hungover like never before.

And hearing Mark Hoppus ask Winnipegers what they wanted to say to Edmonton was hilarious and cool on his part! Is there a video of it so I can look that up on Youtube?

Finally saw the video! It was hillarious especially when the chants of "Go Jets Go" and "F*** the Oilers" happened simultaneously! And from what I've observed, you gotta love how the MTS allows for concerts to have a more intimate feel despite being an arena! It definitely felt more like you were watching it in a big music club than in an arena! And I mean it in a uberly positive way!

I agree, I went to Rise Against a few weeks ago and concerts at the MTSC definitely have an intimate feeling, I've watched concerts from other bands in other arenas and they look so big and poorly set up, the band seems so far away and out of touch with the audience. However it was kind of annoying that at Rise Against you were only allowed to crowd surf once, I did it during the Good Left Undone and the security guy marked my wrist band and said I was out if I did it again. Like coooome on!
